The name Quisisana comes from the Italian phrase QUI-SI-SANA which roughly translates to “here one is healed" or "here you become healthy."

The owner & GM of Villa Roca Boutique Resort & Suites chose the restaurant name because of his Italian heritage and the similarities that Manuel Antonio reflect pertaining to it being a popular costal village surrounded by lush jungle and pristine White sand beaches... Hence, when visiting Manuel Antonio & its national park, which was named one of the most beautiful in the world, people often leave Manuel Antonio “feeling healed in all ways” body, mind & spirit - or QUISISANA!

Here you can spot wild sloths, snakes, frogs, monkeys, and much more wildlife. The village is basically one 6km long vibrant road on a hilly area with many fantastic restaurants and shops tucked away in the greens of the jungle.
